Angelina Jolie and Brad PittAngelina Jolie, mother to a 3-year-old Ethiopian daughter, is upset that there aren’t any black Disney princesses.
“There still isn’t a Disney princess that’s African and it’s very difficult because our daughter’s getting into princesses right now and it upsets me,” she told OK! Magazine.

The Walt Disney Co., plans to release the animated musical fairy tale “The Frog Princess,” which features a black princess next year.

In March, Disney said its new animated princess — Maddy — will be added to its collection of animated princesses used at the company’s theme parks and on consumer products.

In addition to Zahara, Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt have two other adopted children, Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4, from Cambodia and Vietnam respectively. Her daughter Shiloh, 2, is biological, and she is currently pregnant with twins.
