Jive/Zomba, Britney Spears’ music label, announced on Monday that it will be a very good time for Britney Spears, as her new album, Circus, will drop on December 2, her 27th birthday.

And the first single, Womanizer, will hit radio September 22. As we know that Spears won big awards at last weekend’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards (including Video of the Year), now, she has been in the studio all summer.

Her manager Larry Rudolph said that she’s working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and they’re very excited about what she has done so far.

Spears took a break from work last weekend to celebrate her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James’ birthdays along with her family including sister Jamie Lynn and her daughter Maddie, brother Bryan, mom Lynne and dad Jamie.
