Recently Britney spears disclosed that she is rehearsing moves for tour definitely next year around the world.

As for her new single, a giggling Spears described Womanizer as a girl anthem, she called it a really cool song, and she like the fact that it’s so empowering for girls.

On her 27th birthday the song is due out and it’s the first single from her upcoming album titled Circus. She said that she cut Circus like two weeks ago, and she has been working on this album for like six months now.

Things get steamy in Britney Spears’ new music video for “Womanizer.”

The singer shot it yesterday at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant and Elevate Lounge in Los Angeles.

According to source, it features plenty of “erotic” choreography. (According to a leaked copy of the single, lyrics include: “Boy don’t try to front / I know just what gets you off.”)

In one scene, Spears (who wears tight, black leather pants and fake tattoos on her arms in the video) lies on a kitchen counter and later straddles and makes out with a man dressed in business suit.

Jive/Zomba, Britney Spears’ music label, announced on Monday that it will be a very good time for Britney Spears, as her new album, Circus, will drop on December 2, her 27th birthday.

And the first single, Womanizer, will hit radio September 22. As we know that Spears won big awards at last weekend’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards (including Video of the Year), now, she has been in the studio all summer.

Her manager Larry Rudolph said that she’s working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and they’re very excited about what she has done so far.

Britney Spears revved up the celebration for sons Preston and Jayden on Saturday.She and her family threw a car-themed joint birthday party for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James in Beverly Hills.

Sean, who turns 3 on Sunday, and Jayden, who turned 2 on Friday, were given miniature SUVs with personalized license plates.

“Britney was looking on like a very proud mommy,” a source told. “She got a kick out of watching the boys in their cars and was laughing and smiling.”

Britney’s parents were on hand to share their grandsons’ special day while younger sister Jamie Lynne, brought along the boys’ new niece Maddie. There were also some famous faces at the outdoor celebration, including Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan and Gwen Stefani’s little boy, two-year-old Kingston.

And ensuring they could mingle quickly with all their guests, Sean Preston and Jayden James were driving around on their own mini motorised cars.

Britney Spears have donated an autographed portrait of the singer for charity, with a starting bid of $10,000 on eBay.

The 5-by-4-foot oil painting of the pop star was given to the L.A.-based Promises Foundation, which provides behavioral health services to low-income women and their children.

“The Spears family gave us this painting out of their generosity,” says the organization’s director, Lisa Rogg. “It was their idea for the auction.”

Britney Spears is seeking privacy at any cost.Her lawyers sought a one-time reimbursement of $25 for use of a private room at L.A.’s Stanley Mosk Courthouse, where the pop star’s conservatorship case and her former custody battle have played out.

The room was “needed for privacy from reporters eavesdropping,” Spears’s lawyers wrote.

Nearly $5,000 was spent in a six-month period for overnight mailing and courier services alone.

“Because of (Spears’s) celebrity status, overnight and messenger serves were used in lieu of regular mail to maintain control and confidentiality of the documents,” her lawyers added.

While the majority of courthouse activity is considered public record, much of Spears’s case has been sealed by the court’s discretion.

Britney Spears got off to a good start at Sunday’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, winning her first ever “moonman.”

A nervous Britney Spears opened the 25th edition of the VMAs, live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, in a vintage silver Versace mini-dress after being escorted from her nearby dressing room.

Spears clutched the microphone tight on center stage, and announced, “I’m here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday.” Continued Spears: “This is the 25th Video Music Awards – and it starts right now.”

She kicked off the show with Superbad’s Jonas Hill in a pre-taped skit, where he tried to teach her some relaxation techniques.

He ordered her to close her eyes. When she did, he leaned in and tried to kiss her.

According to the sources, Britney Spears is ready to open the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday night.

Britney Spears said that as everybody know about MTV’s important role in her career, so there’s no reason not be there to kick off their 25th Video Music Awards.

She continues to say that she’s very excited to open the entire show, and very keen to say hello to her fans and to be nominated.

As we know that she has been nominated 17 times but never got a Moonman, and this year she is also nominated for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for Piece of Me.

Ryan Seacrest said to her manager, Larry Rudolph, “It’s official that Britney will not be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards this year.”

Last year, Spears performed a rocky opening performance of Gimme More.

Britney Spears have a weekend in the sun that she needed. She is Looking much more like the “old Britney,”. Spears spent the weekend at the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s exclusive villas. After her rocky performance a year before, Britney Spears is re-teaming with the MTV Video Music Awards.
The 26-year-old Spears has shot a promo for the September 7 show with host Russell Brand.

The spot is “mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show,” a source tells E!. “There’s also a
9,000-pound elephant in it, as in ‘the elephant in the room.’”
