Paris Hilton says she and sister Nicky have been texting longtime friend DJ AM since his tragic Learjet crash. She said Tuesday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show that she loves him.

As for his recovery process, Hilton said that they didn’t talk about that, and she just wished him the best. But she said the DJ, whose real name is Adam Goldstein that he’s just so lucky to be alive.

Since his release, she said Goldstein is in good spirits. Hilton said of her friend that with all the love and support coming in, it really means a lot. He’s such a good person, and she thinks like God really did save him.

Hilton said that she was just landing in from Milan. She was sitting with her manager, and he showed her the phone. She couldn’t believe it, it’s so scary.
