If you are trying to sweep Kate Hudson off her feet, or trying to take her out for miniature golf, but whatever you do, don’t be boring.

This sexy actress shared some of her best and worst dating moments at a press conference for her new comedy, My Best Friend’s Girl, opening Sept. 19.

Hudson said that one date, she just left before they even ordered food because the guy was just so deeply boring that it was like.

Instead, she also suggests other ways to get her motor running. Hudson told after her film’s premiere that she loves to be surprised with something fun or something different, like racing cars or miniature golf or something.

In her romantic life, she has been married to Chris Robinson, has been involved with Owen Wilson and Lance Armstrong. But after a tough day on the job, she said that it’s her family and friends that keep her grounded.
