Before arriving at the UK Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Dannii Minogue had not ruled out the possibility that she might be slimed. Therefore she took it all in her stride when she finished covered in a shower of green gunge.

She said that she enjoyed every moment of her time as the ‘High Priestess Of Slime’, but nobody told her to go home wearing it.

All time favourites Ant and Dec won many prizes at the ceremony at London’s ExCel centre, which was running for the second year in the UK. They picked up a record three prizes for best TV presenters, favourite funny person and best family TV show for Britain’s Got Talent.

Dannii’s X Factor co-star Simon Cowell confessed she would like to see slimed. He was voted favourite TV baddie. He won the same award at the US version of the show in this year.

Other winners included Olympic champions Team GB, who were presented with the hero award, while McFly picked up favourite band.
