Brad Pitt won the best actor trophy for his starring role in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford-a year after the film was released.

“I guess you forgot something here years ago,” said the mistress of ceremonies, Ksenia Rappoport, Wednesday at the Venice International Film Festival. Holding up the gold cup to honor Pitt’s performance in the film, she said, “Brad, this is yours.”

Pitt – attending the Venice film festival opening ceremony to premiere Burn After Reading – looked surprised as he walked up onstage.

“Congratulations for your twins,” she also told Pitt as she handed him the trophy.

“You can run but you can’t hide,” Pitt said laughing. “It was an honor to receive this last year and it’s an honor to receive it this year. Thank you very much.”

On Tuesday, Maddox, a 7-year-old boy has a new ‘do in Venice, Italy.

He rocked a blue mohawk with dad Brad Pitt and brother Pax.

Pitt, who is present in town for Venice Film Festival, will premiere his new Coen Brothers crime comedy, Burn After Reading today.

As you know that it isn’t Pitt’s first trip to Venice, but in 2007, he also attended the premiere of The Assassination of Jesse James.

You can see that Pitt has been spending his very important time with his oldest son.

Pitt is trying to spend much time with family as possible.
